Marina Poretsky, PT, DPT, graduated from Rutgers University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. She then attended University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to earn her doctorate in physical therapy in 2007.
Since then, she has had experience working in outpatient physical therapy, with concentrations in both sports medicine and pediatrics focusing on gross motor development. Dr. Poretsky has been continually educated in Kinesio Taping, as well as the McKenzie Method, which is a comprehensive approach which utilizes physical therapy and exercise to centralize the source of the pain, allowing for specific, accurate diagnosis and treatment.
She is also certified in FAKTR, a concept developed for physicians in order to help treat patients with soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation or scar tissue.
